PLACES TO VISIT

You have the opportunity for so many great days out due to the location of the property. The magnificent city of Carcassonne (opposite, used in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves) is a great spectacle and La Napoule and the Med are only an hour away.

You could of course be a little more adventurous and go to Barcelona,the Spanish border is only one and a half hours away.

South are the towns of Foix and Limoux (that was making sparkling wine before Champagne made it famous). Then on to Ax Les Thermes in the season for skiing, or just a little further to Andorra and the pristine pistes of Soldeu where the runs are fantastic and so much cheaper than resorts in the Alps. Remember, the Duty Free is there all year round!
